Scuba Diving- Seeing Underwater World

Scuba Diving is a water sport for those people who want to see the exciting underwater world. Scuba diving is a form of underwater diving in which the diver use scuba set of breathing underwater. Earlier people used to breathe hold or there was an air pumped from the surface. But now scuba divers are able to carry their own sources for breathing. That is usually a compressed air which allows them for better movement. To be able to easily move underwater divers use swim fins which are attached to the feet.  For external propulsion there is a diver propulsion vehicle or there is sled pulled from the surface.

For the safety of divers they must control the rate of descent and ascent in the water. You must be aware of the forces such as of water currents and light. Diver’s buoyancy determines ascent and descent. Secondly though equally important, you need to take care of your equipment. Equipment such as diving weighting system, buoyancy compensator and the diving suits are used to being underwater for scuba diving. Diving suits are wet diving suit, semi dry suit and dry suit, wherein suit to wear is determined by the temperature of water. For vision underwater diving mask and helmets are used to keep the air space in front of a diver’s eyes. Divers communicate using hand signals as they cannot talk underwater until they are wearing a full mask.
